Also, I speculate that the spider's new personality of being single after rebirth is a defense mechanism bred to protect itself. The original personality is blocked, and so is Shin?

What i don't really understand is that there clearly are times where the character acts... out of character, wich would be right places to offer choices. But the dev seems to have chosen a more linear approach and made the choices in the stead of the reader/spectator instead.
Oh, and nice graphisms too, but people can see that for themselves in the pics.
First two chapters were made linear on purpose. In order to explain the plot, and as I mentioned in another comment, player's choices will start with the next update.

I liked the remake for the most part, fleshed out the story a little bit more, the change to the MC's attitude was nice, came off a little more rude but suits the story, definite increase in humour which was good to see.
Out of interest what other kind of tags are we likely to see in this? I see NTR is a no go which is always great to see, but is it going to be solo girl, harem, incest, etc?
I don't want to spoil things, but there will be more character and a big chunk of them will be romanceable, so no solo girl. Sci-fi tag will appear too and I guess harem...
Question: I'm at the part where the MC ate Luna's homemade dinner (which the MC vommited) and still haven't encountered any actions/choices that will change the story and add some affection meter thing. Is there something wrong with my version of the game? I'm just reading everything (I don't have complains about the story).
Nope, everything is fine, the affection meter will be implemented in future update (When MC meets a certain character.) and player choice will be added too. ( I just don't want to put meaningless choices in to the game.)

Genuinely not trying to bash you or the game or anything like that, I'm leaving the below in hopes of helping you improve the game. I like the characters, the story being told and I can't wait to see more!
I think my main bits of feedback are in regards to:
The old main menu is waaayyy cooler and I thought it was one of the more unique and interesting main menus. It's truly a night and day difference. I'm sure there's a good reason for it but still, I don't think the new one is nearly as good
The removal of the gallery, even though it wasn't really needed yet because there's just one NSFW scene it gave fun little pin ups for reaching parts of the story and was still nice to have. I think the best example of this is Life Changing Choices and My Bully is My Lover.
The lighting is kinda mixed. There's some scenes where it's fine, but there are quite a few where it's a bit too intense and both characters and environments are sort of glowing and the color gets washed away a bit.
The proofreading. I understand that you paid someone to do it this time and "they did their best" but I'd recommend finding someone else to do it in the future. There's a number of obvious mistakes that makes me hope they didn't charge you too much for their work. It should be better considering you went from someone who did it for free without noticeable errors to someone who was paid to do it and having numerous obvious errors.
Like I said in a previous comment though, looking forward to seeing how things progress! Especially because of the question that was given to MC, wonder how he's going to address it after his visit to and return from Luna's.
Akira might have something to say about it and I can only imagine Nobume's reaction if she hears about it as well,

Honda is a character who cant read the atmosphere and has no Tactfulness, so obviously many characters have developed some kind of a dislike for him.
For example, the only reason MC mocks him is because Honda used the prohibited word while addressing him, several times and without realizing that MC clearly does not like that word.
I mean yea but when hes sitting there crying while both him and his own daughter mock and ridicule him, you really can't help but feel for the poor guy.

Another difficult question... the only thing I can tell you is that Akira never met Luna in person, even though she knew of her existence.

Yes, it is just for building affection in order to unlock events, and no, it won't lock you out from other characters.

The flower language of Lycoris radiata are endless love and the call of hell. And there are different flower languages in different countries:
Chinese flower language: "beautiful and pure" means beautiful and moving, and also means "the gentleness of the devil".
Japanese flower language: "sad memories".
Korean flower language: "missing each other". It also means "separation, sadness, bad luck and the beauty of death".
Since shin is Japanese, can it be understood as Japanese flower language?
