Honestly the writing is good and its a fun read. Now this VN was obliviously suppose to be a AVN but at some point the Dev decided it wouldn't be that anymore. So this is where my problem begins, I don't know why they decided this but this throws a wrench in how i view it. I'll rate an AVN different than a VN as i won't hold a AVN to the same standards as a VN. I'm not saying that AVN's are not well written but we aren't necessarily playing them just for the story. So with that said as VN this is "ok" as now Im comparing it to other VN's and not AVN's.
Lycoris has many sexual themes with characters being originally written this way. So that leaves me asking if the dev is going to rewrite a large chunk of the story or not. I'll be honest and say that i believe the dev should write a NSFW version and a SFW one. Now this is going to be harsh but as the story is right now i just don't think this will be all that great as a VN. It just feels like a AVN that was too ashamed of itself to go all the way.
hmm thats actually true and it means more critical feedbacks should be coming. But the only concern we have now is if Kuro can just work fine while under fire or crumble under pressure since i can see clearly from his posts that he is quite fond of the characters. The characters getting hate must feel like getting stabbed twice since it also hates his writing. The most obvious example being mirai's case that he hates people asking if she can be romanced.
Dev please add text box transparency.... I haven't played the whole new update so I might add things which is best for your vn or just share my opinion later. And dev I just wanted to let you know something that I liked your previous art style more. But I'm more interested in story than the art style, so it doesn't matter. I'm telling this cuz the new mc looks average compared to the previous one.
I found another thing that needs your attention, I think the sound is little low (I can't hear it properly with my fan on).
Dev you could have given some pictures like the previous version instead of this black background. To be honest, I really liked your previous version of this vn. It makes me sad 😭.

The new animation realy looks good if u ask me its smooth And most characters looks better then in original the only problem i have that i realy liked the original cause it looked goofy And cool at the same time so I am kinda scared how the future update s will look for example i cant realy image the naked school heist in the latest chapter to be animated this way but ye thats Just my thinking mby it will turn better by next update i also Hope that the original animation will stay so like both this And the old will Come out not Just one.Also the backround is realy well Made. well ... it really does look enhanced, ive had a few doubts since i wasnt fond of some of the model showcase like sakura cus it looked like she aged 50 something years old but yeah now you can see why she got that witch nickname. Atleast they didnt look outlandishly far from their original look, and the male characters definitely look more battle hardened/serious. The background of the scenes also upgraded and even looks quite extravagant.
Although I am still bothered by Shin's unnaturally very pronounced collar bone.
All in all, it's definitely not a very huge upgrade since the outdated-to-be chapters still looks nice but it should be a good QOL improvement for Kuro since he posted somewhere here that making the renders on blender actually takes him less time and is more efficient. Hopefully this really means that updates will get pumped out faster/ or at least more content per update.

Dude I'm starting to doubt if there's gonna be any h scenes in the future updates. I mean we've only got one scene and that also didn't have any animation to it. The story is solid though that's what kept me playing but I'm really looking for some action now. Give us something in the next update.
I dont think this game will have any sex scenes at all cause the creator doesnt want nsfw content i think I read it in one of his update s but I am not enitirely sure but if it was nsfw then there would be the h scenes but the game is realy good withnout it i realy enjoyed playing it

Actually I did miss the part, after witnessing an explicit sexual content with Luna I didn't have any reason to believe it would refrain from such content. If it isn't then it shouldn't tag it as nsfw if it's not going to be nsfw. And what's the point of pursuing multiple girls as romance option if it isn't going to show nsfw, could have gone the close friends route. I did say the story is good though.
The only thing that could hint that it would have an H-scene now is mature. The nsfw tag has been removed.

Absolute fucking cinema I replayed this game for second time rn And I must say that its absolutely fantastic story i Hope it will get update realy soon cause I am craving to know more of this story And most importently the humour oh my god this games humour is on another fucking level the amount of times I almost died out of laughter cant be even countet the only Thing I am upset is how litle we get to know about ineis story before he gets to okami cause there are just too much references on it And only thing we got hint is on the incident in the orpahanage but I know everything has its time to Come. As final rewiew( for now) I must say its like 9.5 out of 10 for sure

It's alive of course Kuro is slowly but surely cooking up something for us fam. Patience is key.
The modeling is beautiful, the characters are described in detail and with distinct personalities. The creation of the protagonist reminds me of "Violet Evergarden", which is also about losing emotions and then slowly finding who I am. This game is better than I thought. The above comments are purely my personal opinions and subjective feelings, they may not be correct. 10/10

Oh, I get it now. So it's not actually going to have anything explicit like sex, just occasional nudity like a PG-13 movie. I got to Luna's scene and I realized how it was by the way it was portrayed. Alrighty that's cool. This isn't the first time I've played a VN mainly for the story anyway.

Mirai is the most adorable little thing. I hope to god throughout the story nothing bad will happen to her and if something does happen the MC better sort that shit out real goddamn fast. Only at C4 nearly 5 right now but I already can't wait for more.

I like to read complete story, I know chapter 7 is just beginning of main part of story. but I request you please don't took too long time to complete this story..I understand you working on characters but after that, atlist release small update in every month to keep us excited. and please don't make solo girl ending. atlist all girls who related with MC live together with MC. because if MC love with girls then love doesn't have boundaries.. atlist this one VN story which shows meaning of true love....

Regarding solo endings, I'll quote a part of a post I released that addressed a similar concern:
"-Question: Do I have a picture for the ending of the game and for the romanceable characters?
Answer: For the ending of Lycoris Radiata, yes.
For romanceable characters, the answer is both no and yes. The reason is that who you choose to romance will not have a significant impact on the main true ending. It will be separate, a final side story for that character, but not for the game itself.
Note: I know I wrote something about solo girl endings a long time ago, but at that time, I had no idea what that meant."

But I looked in to the update log And Last chapter came a half year ago I am Just asking when the next will Come? I like everything about this game still, but one thing. It really needs a lot more romance development. I'm not even talking about the sex scenes, It's just i think people would get even more engaged in it if there were more actual romance options. Sure there are a few scenes, but they seem too short and after those moments are over the characters act like it never happened.
Thanks! The story will be quite long, and rushing the romance would only create complications for future events. I'm working on integrating romance in a way that makes sense, as it is tied to the characters' side arcs, some of which cannot progress until certain events take place.

The VN, was never 18+ the way you're thinking. A character had umf umf behind the scenes. Nothing shown, so stop acting like this was some Eternum show.
Comparing a game, and real-life actually makes sense in most cases. In the game, there is a relationship, in real-life there is a relationship... Lycoris Radiata has good story, unlike other AVN-VN's who focus entirely on ero-scenes. I understand everyone who wants to wank, doesn't enjoy learning about the female, before smashing, so you'll just -rep the AVN-VN for not adding scenes immediately.

This game is amazing. But I do think this game should be classified as a visual novel as majority of people associate AVN with having sex scenes although that is not what "adult visual novel" necessarily means. I strongly recommend the developer to just straight up put "no sexual content" so that people won't be complaining about the game not meeting their expectations.

Really enjoyed the game even if i play mostly AVNs plenty of those with a good story aswell.
I personally think some characters would lose a ton of charm without actual scenes(Luna, the twins and the step sister) when i was playing i found absolutely nothing i could like about Luna even the MC treats her like a temporary hole, she's just an angry abusive slut, with some actual scenes a player can think yeah she's good at least in something.

The QTEs and the other characters are rally well done and surprised me i knew this game wasn't AVN since the start and yet decided to give it a try no regrets at all, just sharing my honest opinion about it.
