Hey everyone, I’m here with some updates on my overall progress.

Writing:

I’ve already completed a rough script for Chapter 8, and the enhanced Chapter 1 is still in development. Half of the new story has been written so far.

New scenes will be added, and some existing ones, like the train scene, will be expanded to provide more details about the world of Lycoris Radiata.

3d Models:

As you can see, there’s been some progress. However, there’s one major challenge: hair.

I usually spend around 10 to 15 hours working on a character’s hair, but Ren’s hair took me over 20 hours to finish. Now I understand why “hair artists” exist in the game industry...

What I’m trying to say is that, in my humble opinion, hair creation is one of the most time-consuming parts of character modeling, and that is not good.

So, for the next blender model, I’ll be experimenting with a different approach to character creation. I have some ideas, and to test them, I’ll work on Mirai, Inei and Ren again. This will allow us to compare the results and see if the new method works better.

As for the question, “When will the next update be released?”—honestly, I don’t know. I have a lot going on right now, so I will prioritize handling the most urgent matters first. However, worry not, I still dedicate most of my free time to this project.
