Hello, everyone!

I finally finished editing the last action scene, and to be honest, it took longer than I expected.

To explain things, this update will feature a few action scenes, and in some of them, I almost pushed the boundaries of my imagination. In fact, I had to enlist the help of Photoshop to bring my ideas to life.

Now, I still have things to finish because, for some reason, I keep adding stuff to the script, making this update bigger and bigger. For instance, I almost went as far as to model the entire Shiro-Chou academy from scratch for one particular scene. (This scene is like 15min max)

But I did not.

Rather than dedicating weeks finishing this huge model and risking a extreme delay, I've opted for a more efficient approach. This might make that scene not as cool as I intended it to be, but hopefully still enjoyable.

Looking ahead, I plan to take a break after completing Chapter 6 for a month or so and spend some time fixing the game, relaxing, improving menus, fix my bad sleeping habit, improving Discord/Game sites, and other things.

For those of you thinking these changes are unnecessary, let me give you my argument. Around two weeks ago, my SSD decided to peace off from this world without any chance of defibrillation, leading to the loss of my entire HS 2 folder.

Fortunately, I'm quite a paranoid person, I always keep backups, so it wasn't a big deal. (Except for the fact that I lost a 1TB SSD) However, I'm not foolish enough to back up the entire 400GB folder every week on two separate drives, so I did a smart thing and only backed up important stuff.

Reinstalling HS 2 and restoring my backup files revealed three surprises.

The first surprise was realizing that my version of the game was outdated. To put it simply, you can expect graphical improvements in this update.

The second surprise was that some of the characters cards became corrupted, and I had to remake them entirely. By the way, everything is fixed now, so no problem. Maybe the only issue is that I got a little carried away and made those corrupted characters look somewhat "better." (Mirai Worshipers will get the comparison on Patreon.)

The third surprise was that most of the maps I made using SNeo2 got demolished, so I had to remake them too.

Anyway, everything is fine, I doing my best, but I won't be making an Update Status/Update Status quiz as it would take precious time I could spend on the update.
